 We know that the benefits of garlic are many, but *green garlic* is available only in winter, which has more benefits than normal *garlic*.  * Detoxifies the body as a whole.* Strengthens digestion.  The *active compound allicin in green garlic is a natural antibiotic,* which protects against *infection*.  *Eating it can prevent cold and flu.*

ðŸŸĨ *Millets :*


 This is a grain that should be eaten only in *winter*.  *There is no better breakfast than millet bread, jaggery and ghee.* Dhebra and oola made by adding *green garlic* to its flour can be understood only by those who have eaten it.


 *Bajra contains very good protein,* which provides nourishment and also heats the body.  It is a food that gives satisfaction and keeps you from feeling hungry for a long time. The essential amino acids in it remove unnecessary cholesterol from the blood.  However *must eat ghee with bajra.* Don't worry about getting fat.  Millets and ghee do not make you fat, but provide the necessary nutrition and strength.



 ðŸŸĨ *green turmeric :*


 *Two types of turmeric are available in winter,* one is *green turmeric* and the other is *mango turmeric.* Both are considered very beneficial.  Turmeric *is as valuable as gold for health.* Turmeric is essential to protect against any type of *infection*.  *Has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties and protects against seasonal diseases.* Provides strength to bones and boosts immunity.  Apart from this, the *antioxidant* in it is also very beneficial.

ðŸŸĨ *roots :*


 Radishes are only available in Mumbai for 8 months out of 12 months, but they are actually a *winter tuber.* They contain a lot of *dietary fibres*, due to which the digestive problems are removed.  Radishes have the power to remove cough and cold in winter and especially the cough that freezes inside. Apart from this, it contains zinc and phosphorus, due to which skin problems like dry skin, acne  That problems like red spots* can also be removed.



 ðŸŸĨ *Tamarind :*


 Amla is a winter fruit that is very useful.  *This amla, rich in vitamins, is found only in winter.* It is also used as a medicine.  We make a lot of amla dishes, but the fact is that if we want to benefit from it, we should eat it whole. Vitamin C in amla is water and air soluble, meaning it evaporates if it comes in contact with water.  Or even fly away if exposed to air.  *Getting up in the morning and eating an amla immediately gives the body the best nutrition.  Do not soak it in salt or turmeric water, eat it as it is.*



 ðŸŸĨ *Green Leafy Vegetables:*



 Some vegetables like fenugreek, spinach, mint, rice, radish leaves* are available in winter.  These vegetables are available year-round in Mumbai, but the season in which they should be eaten in abundance is winter.  These vegetables have a lot of nutrition.  It can be used in different ways.  It can be eaten by putting it in *Rotala, Parotta* or making it as a vegetable.  These vegetables are rich in iron, vitamin K, vitamin G and vitamin D. Apart from this, they are also rich in antioxidants.

ðŸŸĨ * Tuwer-pea-wal-green gram :*


 This type of *seed vegetable* is available only in winter.  Nowadays, people keep it in the refrigerator throughout the year.  The specialty of this seed is that it is a vegetable with digestible protein. We use these seeds specially in Undhiya.  That is why our Ondhi is considered a complete food.  *Vegetarians get protein only from pulses, pulses or milk products,* but the rich and digestible protein from vegetables is much better than this protein.  These seeds, found in winter, are used in various dishes and *must be eaten.*



 ðŸŸĨ *palms :*


 People have started eating dates in any season nowadays, but there was a time when they were not eaten except in winter and it was believed that *it gets hot.* The best time to eat dates and not believe that is winter.  It is not right to eat dates without ghee.* It is not right to eat dates and eat them without ghee in winter.  * Dates and ghee are a pair.* If it is sauteed in ghee, then eat it like that, otherwise take ghee and dip it and eat dates.  *It is highly nutritious especially for children.*


ðŸŸĨ *Sesame :*


 Sesame seeds are one such seed from which we get very good *quality fats.* It also contains very good *protein*.  Thus, it provides nutrition that gives a lot of strength to the digestive process.  *Eating sesame helps maintain body temperature.  The body can stay warm from within.* The combination of sesame seeds and jaggery is considered to be very auspicious.  * Sesame seeds are black or red, both are very beneficial.

 Gum or Gund is considered very *nourishing* by us there, but it is not used all year round.  Mostly it is planted in crops which are made in winter.  *Gundna Ladu is made, Gundna Raab is also made.  Gund is used in many different crops like Sukhdi, Methi Ladu, Addiya, Sesame crop.* It strengthens the body and nourishes the bones.  Gum is very useful for complete nutrition.

 Crops of various kinds are thus very productive.  Uddiya in particular is a very favorite crop among Gujaratis.  Gujarati households do not eat a lot of urad dal, but give them enough urad dal to eat.  *In this type of crops we use jaggery, ghee, dry fruits and vegetables are best in terms of nutrition.  Uddiya contains highly nutritious ingredients like black and washed musli, gokhru, kaucha, akkalgaro, peppermint, poppy, cardamom, nutmeg, javantri and ginger.* People nowadays don't eat it in the name of high calories, but that is a mistake.  *People who are weightloss can also eat this crop.* It is necessary that you understand how much and when to eat it.  A paak batak and a cup of milk will be the best breakfast in winter morning.  Crops are not right.  *But it must be eaten by every age person.*
